SBOM

Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)

We provide a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for this application, listing all dependencies and their versions. This helps you understand the software composition, identify potential security risks, and comply with open source license requirements.

You can obtain the latest SBOM in the following ways:

Tip: The HTML report is generated by the CycloneDX Sunshine tool and includes interactive charts and tables. It's the best way to understand the software dependency structure.

Instructions

Download the Executable

Download the appropriate executable ZIP file for your Mac's chip type from the GitHub Releases page and extract it to your preferred directory, such as /Users/username/.

If you're not sure which chip your Mac uses, click the Apple menu in the top left > About This Mac to check your processor information.

Set Executable Permission and Remove Security Restrictions

Due to macOS security mechanisms, you may need to run the following two commands to set executable permissions and remove security attributes (replace the path with your actual file path):

For Intel Mac users:

chmod +x gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-x86_64
xattr -cr gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-x86_64

For Apple Silicon/ARM Mac users:

chmod +x gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-aarch64
xattr -cr gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-aarch64

Command explanations:

  • chmod +x: Grants executable permission to the file, allowing it to be run as a program
  • xattr -cr: Removes macOS quarantine and security attributes applied to files downloaded from the internet, resolving the "unidentified developer" warning

Sign in to Google Cloud

Run the following command in your terminal:

gcloud auth application-default login

Configure Claude Desktop

Open the Claude Desktop configuration file. On macOS, the path is usually: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Add the following configuration, replacing the command path with the actual path to your executable:

{
    "mcpServers": {
        "gcp-auditmate-mcp-server": {
            "command": "/Users/username/gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-x86_64"
        }
    }
}

Or for the ARM version:

{
    "mcpServers": {
        "gcp-auditmate-mcp-server": {
            "command": "/Users/username/gcp-auditmate-mcp-server-darwin-aarch64"
        }
    }
}

Use Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop and you will see the MCP tool loaded.
